We are currently in the need of a Inventory and Logistics Coordinator I in our Redmon, WA, facility. Schedule: Schedule: 5:00am to 1:30pm, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 7:30am to 4:00, overtime as necessary. Ability to be flexible.


POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for accurately tracking and documenting materials, WIP, finished goods and supplies on time and right first time. Coordinates with other departments to ensure accurate inventory counts and levels. Coordinate and set up inbound and outbound shipments to ensure ship dates are met. This position requires a continuous improvement mindset and knowledge of regulatory concepts in a manufacturing environment.


KEY JOB DUTIES

  • Manages all aspects of inventory including data entry of new orders, pulls, returns, cycle counts, year-end physical counts (including client-owned inventory). Monitor allocated versus unallocated quantities of all materials. Ensure inventory levels are sufficient for existing and future orders, considering lead times, usage, expiration dates and storage times.
  • Work with other departments to develop optimal inventory levels. Consider lead times, MOQs, reorder points and quantities and evaluate safety stock to minimize overstock/understock situations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and regular audits of systems to check for accuracy. Investigates and resolves discrepancies with inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Act as primary point of contact for shipping inbound and outbound orders.
  • Schedule all shipments timely and accurately.
  • Prepare international shipping documents per customer, country and regulatory requirements. Precision is imperative.
  • Create BOMs for all orders. Ensure accuracy of allocation levels in inventory when sending buy requests to purchasing.
  • Communicate professionally and timely with other team members in the company.
  • Ability to use company systems as necessary.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, accuracy, and efficiency in support of the company target objectives.
  • Perform all other special projects or duties as assigned.


COMPANY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to recognize audible hazards.
  • Able to lift and move 50lbs from the floor to a height of 48 inches multiple times a day.
  • Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, climb, perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods.
  • Follow GMP, PPE, and company safety policies in performance of job duties.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Perform other projects/duties assigned.


WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUACTION REQUIREMENTS 

  • High school diploma, or GED.
  • Forklift certification required. Ability to train and certify others.
  • At least one year experience in inventory control and shipping.
  • Manufacturing and general warehouse experience preferred.
  • Systems (ERP) experience a plus.
  • Attention to detail.
