  • Travel to Polk County, Florida Office: 711 N Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 (at least once a week)

Job Description:

Overview:

Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's Promoting Abstinence Through Health and Self-Awareness (PATHS) Program is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight to our comprehensive sexual health and self-awareness education program. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the program's success through administrative coordination, personnel management, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Oversight:
    • Provide daily administrative leadership and oversight of the PATHS Program.
    • Ensure compliance with program guidelines, reporting requirements, and contractual obligations.
    • Manage program budgets and financial resources effectively.
  2. Personnel Management:
    • Supervise a team of Facilitators, Volunteer Recruiters, Outreach/Intake Recruiters, Program Assistant, and Volunteers.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans as needed.
  3. SRAE Training and Curriculum:
    • Oversee the implementation of the Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) curriculum.
    • Ensure staff and mentors receive proper training in program content and delivery.
  4. Youth and Mentor Recruitment:
    • Develop and execute strategies for recruiting youth participants and volunteer mentors.
    • Coordinate outreach efforts to schools, community organizations, and local agencies.
  5. Mentor Training:
    • Organize and facilitate mentor training sessions to prepare volunteers for their roles.
    • Provide ongoing support and resources to mentors throughout their involvement in the program.
  6. Service Provider Partnerships:
    • Manage partnerships with service providers and contractors, ensuring the fulfillment of program requirements and objectives.
    • Collaborate with external partners to enhance program offerings and resources.
  7. Youth File Review and Outcome Assessment:
    • Conduct regular reviews of student files and data to assess program outcomes.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine program strategies and improve youth outcomes.
  8. Evaluation Reporting:
    • Contribute to the oversight of program evaluation activities and reporting.
    • Assist in collecting and analyzing data to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  9. Network Building and Collaboration:
    • Actively engage in building and maintaining relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
    • Seek opportunities for collaboration and networking to expand program reach and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in program management, youth development, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  • Knowledge of Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programs and curriculum preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in program evaluation and data analysis.
  • Ability to travel to Polk County, Florida, at least once a week.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.
  • Work location: Main office at 7402 N 56th Street, Suite 400, Tampa, FL 33617.
  • Regular travel to the Polk County, Florida office at 711 N Kentucky Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 (mileage compensation provided at .655/mile).

The Program Manager will contribute 100% of their time to program activities, focusing on the successful implementation and growth of the PATHS Program.
