Job Description 

The Digital Marketing Specialist role will play a unique role within the marketing and digital organization as part of the Experience Channel Marketing (ECM) team. The primary focus of the ECM team is to increase connectivity between our Digital Product & UX organization and Brand marketing groups—partnering to identify & strategize unique business and brand opportunities that can be supported or amplified through our company’s digital product capabilities. The role of the specialist will be to act as a key liaison between the Abercrombie adults & kids, Hollister and Gilly Hicks Brand Experience Marketing teams and the Digital & UX organization in order to influence the optimal customer experience that serves both our seasonal brand objectives and is grounded in digital roadmap and user insights. This role will require strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence across multiple dimensions of the organization, in addition to excellent operational and project management skills to keep the work progressing forward with clarity. Understanding of brand & digital marketing landscape is a plus.

This is a remote position with the expectation for light to moderate travel to our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio throughout the year.

What will you be doing?

Support our Brand Experience Team with the planning and execution of digitally integrated campaigns

  • Develop and maintain customer marketing channel best practices to guide the brand experience team's strategic planning during seasonal sprints.

  • Explore brand experience opportunities and curiosities identified in seasonal strategy and experience sprints, collaborating with digital product and UX teams.

  • Ensure brand experience teams are well-informed about relevant digital product and UX initiatives for seasonal strategy and experience planning.

  • Represent brand experience priorities and perspectives in digital forums such as domain councils, sprint reviews, weekly digital x marketing sync, etc.

  • Actively participate in audience strategy sprints on behalf of the brand experience team.

Drive Collaboration with our Digital Product/UX Organization:

  • Partner with squads to identify upcoming features with marketing dependencies, facilitating channel strategy, execution, and coordination with other marketing teams.

  • Maintain close connectivity and a strong understanding of digital product annual priorities and initiatives to identify collaboration opportunities that align with marketing initiatives.

  • Support the creation and improvement of processes to bridge the gap between product/UX and marketing teams.

Manage Dual-Branded Loyalty Program + App Strategy:

  • Oversee the myAbercrombie & Hollister House rewards loyalty programs

  • Partner with other key loyalty stakeholders in the business to evolve our loyalty

    programs from earn & burn to next gen, experiential based programs.

  • Drive app acquisition and engagement through an always-on test and learn agenda.

New Opportunity Discovery:

  • Vet new opportunities to expand our current customer marketing portfolio

What Do You Need To Bring? 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience  

  • 4-5 years marketing and/or digital product/UX experience or experience in other areas including: corporate strategy, brand or marketing operations, or agency strategist/lead

  • Experience managing or working closely to site and app channel strategies is a plus

  • Proven experience in a role requiring a high degree of autonomy and initiative.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

  • Strong conceptual & analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively drive projects forward independently.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where self-direction is essential.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify connections and patterns.

  • Innate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset; willingness to explore new ideas, technologies, and industry trends.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
