Scheduling Specialist, Advanced Cardiology Associates

This team member is responsible for assisting providers and clinical staff in scheduling all invasive procedures within the office, insurance authorizations, and other job duties related to patient care. Works with outside office and facilities to ensure appointments are made in a timely manner, and that necessary documentation is completed and received by said facilities. Works with the EMR proficiently and strives to support entities and goals for successful compliance with meaningful use targets.

High school graduate or equivalent. Must be very organized with a high level of accountability. Must have excellent customer service skills and qualified computer skills. Demonstrates initiative and maturity, with good interpersonal /telephone skills. Is able to set priorities, maintain confidentiality, work with all departments, be trustworthy discrete and cooperative. Must have clinical background (Phlebotomy, CMA, CMAII, LPN, RN, Med Tech, Surg Tech, Lab Tech), but current certification not needed to apply.
