Currently we are looking for a Compliance Officer in Lithuania.

Requirements

  • Experience, covering a wide range of subjects in depth across retail and business customer bases, such as KYC, CDD/EDD, Transaction · Monitoring, Risk Assessments, Reporting (SARs)
  • 1 year of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge and understanding of anti-financial crime frameworks: AML/CTF and sanctions policies, and regulatory recommendations, risk management good practice, procedures and control arrangements in a complex financial organisation
  • Proficiency in using AML screening tools, transaction monitoring systems, and other relevant software applications


Responsibilities:

  • Working with MLRO and escalating significant cases, reporting trends, monitoring and detecting of rare and/or new patterns
  • Receiving and promptly responding to Law Enforcement Requests & Subpoenas and warrants according to internal procedures
  • Conducting screening and reviewing escalations of Sanction, PEP and Negative News screening hits and decide on acceptable risk
  • Acting as the escalation point and ensuring high-quality Suspicious Activity Reports are submitted according to local requirements
  • Handling the investigative process from escalation to decisioning, including drafting, reviewing and timely submission of SARs when appropriate
  • Maintaining escalation log and ensure all escalations to the team are promptly reviewed and resolved
