Our partner a financial institution is seeking a Business Lending Officer III to join their team in Vancouver, WA. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and falls under the category of Business Development. The salary range for this position is $97,602.00 to $146,403.00.

Responsibilities
  • Process new loan requests, loan renewals, term loan reviews, and analyze financial documents such as tax returns, profit and loss statements, and credit reports.
  • Prepare and present credit presentations for loan approval in line with policy guidelines.
  • Participate in business development and networking activities to support loan portfolio growth.
  • Ensure loans conform to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor existing accounts through periodic portfolio reviews.
  • Provide underwriting and loan structure guidance to clients and support less experienced Business Lending Officers.
  • Prepare and distribute reports as needed.
  • Train others in processing and servicing areas including loan documentation preparation, booking, and payoff quotes.
  • Troubleshoot accounting, servicing, or system problems.
  • Work with internal and external auditors and legal counsel.
  • Maintain knowledge of Commercial Real Estate, Construction & Development, and C&I lending.
  • Comply with government regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and US Patriot Act.
  • Participate in the company's Email Security Awareness Program.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5-10 years of similar or directly related experience in commercial credit/lending within a community bank or credit union, with advanced experience in Commercial Real Estate, Construction & Development, and C&I lending.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent. Graduation from an industry-recognized professional banking school preferred.
