About the Role 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Concrete Carpenter to install concrete formwork in the early stages of construction projects. The Concrete Carpenter is tasked with execution in the following areas: 
 
Primary Responsibilities 

• Construct, erect, and install formwork using hand and power tools.  
• Measure, cut, assemble, install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts 
• Construct and erect built-in-place or prefabricated wooden forms according to specifications for molding concrete structures 
• Insert spreaders and tie-rods between opposite pieces to maintain specific dimensions 
• Brace forms in place using nails, bolts, anchor bolts, steel cables, planks, and timber 
• Pour concrete into finished form and finish concrete surfaces to specifications  
• Install all items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications 

Qualifications 

• 3-5 years of concrete form carpentry experience preferred 
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans 
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions 
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with management
• Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical tools, hand tools, power tools, layout tools, and measurement tools.  

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces 
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions 
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed based on the project  
• Ability to observe and comply with all company safety protocols and project rules
