Senior Industrial Designer - Diverse Product Development Opportunity

Kickr Design is the fastest growing product development company in the Southeast. At our location in Atlanta, GA we design, engineer, prototype, and manufacture devices for a wide array of industries ranging from consumer products to medical devices. As a part of the core Kickr design team, Industrial Designers help to strategize, design, prototype, and test components and systems starting at conceptual sketching and models through fully manufactured parts. Kickr is looking for an highly experienced designer to enhance our team with a deep knowledge of product development and design processes. We are excited to expand our design team and bring on another talented and driven Industrial Designer to our team.

Requirements

• BFA / Bachelor's degree (or higher) with focus on industrial design
• 5-10 years Industrial Design experience

Kickr Design is looking for Industrial Designers who can deliver on the following:

• Concept visualization using hand sketching
• CAD experience (Solidworks preferred) with surfacing and assemblies
• Digital rendering using either Solidworks, Visualize, or Keyshot
• Part prototyping via modeling, CNC, laser cutting, 3D printing and other methods
• Deep understanding of all aspects of the product design process
• Ability to extract and understand nuanced customer requirements and assist customers through the development journey
• Document and communicate progress with team and customers, maintain project schedules and timelines
• Develop positive working relationships with teammates, vendors and clients
• Understanding or experience of using human factors in the design process
