Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at our facility located in Columbus, OH, 43207. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks using different techniques and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in welding who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization.
Responsibilities- Perform Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick Welding), and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding.
- Operate Hydraulic Shear / Shearing Machine for cutting metal sheets.
- Utilize Manual Grinder and Manual Plasma Cutter for metal preparation and cutting.
- Operate Overhead Crane for lifting and moving heavy materials.
- Use Press Brake, Punch Press, and Roll Forming Machine for metal forming and shaping.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand welding specifications and requirements.
- Ensure welding setups are properly prepared for production.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to welding tasks.
- Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick Welding), and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding.
- Proficient in operating Hydraulic Shear / Shearing Machine, Manual Grinder, Manual Plasma Cutter, Overhead Crane, Press Brake, Punch Press, and Roll Forming Machine.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints to understand welding specifications and requirements.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the job, including the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
- Strong knowledge of welding setups for production.
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
