Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 Yrs. of pipe welding experience
- Must have experience in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), also known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) also known as "stick welding” .
Job Description:
- Pipe Welder is responsible for performing pipe welding procedures on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel pipe using Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), also known as tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding.
- Welder may be required to work either day or night.
- Must pass military standard X-Ray welding test on stainless steel and copper nickel in the 6G position (restricted). The pipe welding test is given in a restricted position (6 G) on a 5'' schedule 80 carbon steel pipe. GTAW (TIG) process used for root pass, 11018 electrode used for weld fill portion and cap.
Pay: $38
Per-diem: $137.52
