Summary
Why not make a New Year's resolution to join an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G team of early educators and nurturing caregivers at Ages Stages in Hampstead, NH? We have an immediate need to expand our Infant caregiver team. We seek enthusiastic, energetic, loving, and compassionate early childhood full- and part-time professionals to join our phenomenal learning center. Ideal candidates must be dependable, flexible team players with a passion for early education and children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Our hours of operation are year-round Monday through Friday 7AM to 5PM. Prior experience working in a licensed childcare program is preferred. Lead Teachers and Associate Teachers must meet NH CCLU requirements. No experience is necessary for Teacher Assistants. Full and part-time positions are available.
Duties
•Ensure a healthy, safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for children both inside and outside the facility
•Create a dynamic, fun, creative, and interactive classroom experience
•Encourage self-help and good hygiene through positive behavior modeling
•Present a professional and positive image
•Be punctual, prepared, and positive
•Actively engage with the children during all classroom activities and all gross motor activities (sitting on the floor, dancing, exercising, playing various activities outside and inside)
•Swiftly and compassionately respond for safety and emergency care, ensure proper first aid procedures are followed
•Provide warmth, acceptance, and accurate interpretation of children's needs
•Demonstrate courtesy, compassion, and respect in relating to children, families, visitors, and coworkers
•Facilitate open and effective, professional verbal and written communication with families, staff, co-teachers, and children
•Greet parents, children, extended family, and other visitors immediately and warmly
•Respond to changing work environments by demonstrating flexibility with schedules, classroom assignments, teamwork, and families
•Help to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
•Help each child to have a positive experience throughout the day, by treating all children with dignity and respect and allowing for individual difference
•Help to provide an atmosphere of acceptance and caring, showing as much individual attention as possible to each child
•Help to ensure a smooth daily transition from home to childcare and back to home
•Exhibit a passion for early education and children and an enthusiasm for learning
•Display effective classroom management skills, including large-group and small-group
•Demonstrate efficient organizational and multi-tasking skills
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, and staff
•Prepare and complete required paperwork, lesson plans, newsletters, assessments, and progress reports
•Follow all center policies and NH state regulations
•Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and renewals
•Meet annual Professional Development requirements as outlined by He-C 4002.33 (1)

- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- No Experience necessary for Teacher Assistants
- Lead Teachers and Associate Teachers must meet NH CCLU requirements
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- NH Child Care Employment Eligibility Card (Preferred)
Hourly salary is commensurate with experience.
