PRN Hospital Pharmacy Technician

PRN (As-Needed) Hospital Pharmacy Technician Position Available - This position will pick up shifts on an as-needed basis at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga.  Candidates must have at least 2 days per week of availability in general to be consider for this role. 

• Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm & Saturday and Sunday 8am-12pm 
• Weekday and weekend PRN shifts available  
• This is not a remote/work-from-home position
• No hospital pharmacy experience required

Job Description:

Assists the pharmacist in providing medication, drug information, and pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, physicians and other hospital personnel. Receives and stores incoming deliveries of medication and supplies. Demonstrates an ability to calculate figures and amounts relating to dosage calculations when filling various prescriptions ranging from the newborn to the elderly populations. Maintains inventory of supplies in pharmacy and other departments and reorders them accordingly.
