Job Description
Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Capital Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional care to patients during their clinic visits, with a particular emphasis on those experiencing spine and comprehensive pain issues. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals is integral to achieving optimal patient outcomes in our fast-paced clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and manage treatment for patients with spine disorders and comprehensive pain issues in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Provide compassionate and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Collaborative Care Planning:
- Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment goals and care plans.
- Coordinate services and treatments to ensure the effective implementation of care plans.
Post-Procedural Evaluation:
- Evaluate patients following interventional spine procedures and collaborate on appropriate post-procedural management.
Patient Advocacy and Support:
- Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
- Address concerns and provide support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
Additional Duties:
- Fulfill unit-specific responsibilities and expectations outlined in departmental guidelines.
- Undertake any other clinical duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the department.
Qualifications:
- Nurse Practitioner
- Master of Science in Nursing degree.
- Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
- Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
- Physician Assistant
- Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
