Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
 

We are seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team within the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Capital Regional Medical Center. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional care to patients during their clinic visits, with a particular emphasis on those experiencing spine and comprehensive pain issues. Collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals is integral to achieving optimal patient outcomes in our fast-paced clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and manage treatment for patients with spine disorders and comprehensive pain issues in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Provide compassionate and holistic care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Collaborative Care Planning:

  • Work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment goals and care plans.
  • Coordinate services and treatments to ensure the effective implementation of care plans.

Post-Procedural Evaluation:

  • Evaluate patients following interventional spine procedures and collaborate on appropriate post-procedural management.

Patient Advocacy and Support:

  • Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
  • Address concerns and provide support to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Additional Duties:

  • Fulfill unit-specific responsibilities and expectations outlined in departmental guidelines.
  • Undertake any other clinical duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner
    • Master of Science in Nursing degree.
    • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.  
    • Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.  
  • Physician Assistant
    • Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts.
