HVAC Apprentice

All Volusia and Flagler Heating and Air is looking for a mechanically-inclined individual looking to explore a fruitful career in the HVAC trade, learning life-long skills to build with their growing experience. Instead of taking out a loan for a 1-2+ Year Program - learn out in the field, gaining real-world experience while YOU get paid.


This candidate should be a problem solver with excellent social and communication skills, and a sense of pride and ownership in their work. This position is full time, year round. This position also will require patience and an understanding that experience and learning comes with time and dedication. Investment into oneself and one's tools will be a necessary attribute as well.

To be considered, we ask candidates:

• Must have previous experience in a mechanical field with prior use of hand tools
• Must be available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
• Must have own hand tools
• Must have valid, clean drivers license with reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
• Must be able to work in a team environment with heavy emphasis on respectful and constructive communication

Responsibilities include:

• Active learning, note-taking, and ability to handle new objectives on a daily basis
• Assist Primary Technicians on site with duties to accomplish task at hand
• Assist Service Manager with tasks required when assigned
• Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or used parts and instrument, using hand or power tools.
• Install of HVAC units, including electronic and mechanical components.
• Install of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction.
• Perform required maintenance on HVAC equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.
