Job Title: Business Analyst (2 Positions)
Location: Remote with some travel to Columbus, Ohio
Period: Now to 07/31/2024 with possibility of extension
Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: Up to $112/hr depending upon experience

Scope of Services:

The Business Analyst will focus on supporting functional design and build activities within the Construction domain, while the other Business Analyst will focus on the Customer domain. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, develop detailed functional specifications, and facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops. The Business Analysts will play a key role in translating business needs into technical requirements and supporting the testing and validation of domain-specific systems. Both resources must have experience with SAP.

Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to construction projects (Construction Business Analyst) or customer-related initiatives (Customer Business Analyst).
• Develop detailed functional specifications, business process models, and workflow diagrams to support domain-specific initiatives.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to elicit requirements and gather feedback on proposed solutions.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate domain-specific business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Support the testing and validation of domain-specific systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with business requirements.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to end-users during the implementation and post-implementation phases of domain-specific projects.
• Utilize SAP experience to integrate SAP functionalities into the domain-specific projects and ensure alignment with SAP standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the construction industry (for the Construction Business Analyst) or in customer-facing roles (for the Customer Business Analyst), with a strong understanding of domain-specific processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modeling, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working with SAP and familiarity with SAP modules relevant to the respective domain.
• Experience working in an agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards relevant to the respective domain is a plus.
