United Talent Staffing is seeking a MC&C Technician to join the Hope Gas team in Clarksburg, WV.
This individual will lead the activities of a group of workers engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of regulation and measurement equipment including electronic instrumentation used to monitor gas quality, pressure, and flow.
Primary Responsibilities
- This role installs, programs, tests, maintains, and repairs electronic gas measurement, gas monitoring, gas control equipment (remote terminal units (RTU), telemetering, microwave radio, satellite equipment, cellular equipment, chromatographs, etc.) to facilitate effective telecommunication, gas measurement, and remote-control ops.
- Implements gas measurement and SCADA device installations.
- Directs and participates in the installation of communication equipment. Calibrates and maintains equipment.
- Inspects and tests facilities and equipment to identify malfunctions, troubleshoots problems, replaces, or repairs equipment/components.
- Interacts with Gas Measurement Specialists and Engineers to ensure job responsibilities are completed effectively.
- Install and maintain all communications and electronics to M&R facilities including dial up, four-wire, cell modem, satellite, microwave, radio etc.
- Responds to and resolves customer service issues.
Main Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Ability to carry equipment and parts from vehicle to work site over various terrain.
- Knowledge of current electronic, radio, digital and remote-control theory.
- 2+ years of electronics experience and/or measurement/control/communications experience is preferred.
