Restaurant Supervisor

• Support the restaurant manager in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring the team is trained to deliver the manager's vision.
• Maintain vigilance over the restaurant, ensuring cleanliness, preparedness, staff knowledge, appearance, and adherence to hotel policies.
• Keep the entire team informed in a timely manner, from bus person to management to culinary staff.
• Assist the staff with various tasks such as serving, hosting, scheduling, training, and interviewing.
• Ensure safety and security by monitoring for any issues with property, guests, or coworkers and upholding the hotel's standards.

• Food and Beverage Experience
• Knowledge of supervising others is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours to cover business demands
• Ability to use POS systems
• Customer Service Focused Mindset
• Prior food & beverage experience is strongly preferred with prior supervisory experience a plus and good communication skills and fluency in English required
• A high school degree is required. Additional schooling is a plus
• You will regularly use a computer and various software programs and must have certified alcohol training. ServeSafe certified for similar certification preferred
• Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours
• Light work -- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels
• Near Vision -The ability to see details at close range
• Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning
• Schedule will vary from week to week based on business demands
• Ability to run shifts on own, including assisting with guest concerns, closing employees out at the end of the night, and maintaining cleanliness standards
