Form Washer – 1st Shift
We are hiring a Form Washer on 1st shift at a leading cheese manufacturer in Monroe. The Form Washer is responsible for pulling cheese from the coolers and delivering it to the packaging line in a timely manner. The Form Washer will clean forms, run CIP Systems, and handle chemicals. The Form Washer requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
Hours: 5am to 2pm + OT, Mon-Fri; for training, hours will be 5am to 3pm
Pay: $19.40/hour
Form Washer Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift, pallet jack and walkie forklift in tight spaces
- Follow daily production schedules for staging cheese for packaging lines
- Conduct CIP verifications (i.e. chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature)
- Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers
- Observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure in good condition and in compliance
- Perform and follow SSO's on production tools and equipment
- Document sanitation and production checks
- Follow proper GMPs, PPEs and chemical handling practices
- Maintain chemical usages and inventory adjustments
- Understand FIFO (First In First Out) system
- Complete master sanitation schedules on a timely matter
Form Washer Requirements:
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
- Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to the details
- Capable of following directions; consistency is crucial to the position
- Proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions
- Sanitation experience in a food production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Standing, walking, bending; occasional reaching, kneeling, and squatting
- Able to lift/carry up to 40lbs; able to push/pull up to 60lbs
