Maintenance Planner and Scheduler, Gainesville, TX
**Starting Pay: $24.50 per hour **
**Shift: Day 6:00am – 2:30pm**
As a **MaintenancePlanner and Scheduler, **you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of manpower, parts and material, and equipment access. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and maintaining liaison between Production and Maintenance, he is responsible for planning, scheduling and coordination of all plannable maintenance work performed on the plant site. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, you are also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance related matter.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare sketches or take pictures to clarify intent of the work order assigned mechanics simply as reference during detailed planning.
- Take exact measurements (exactly).
- Identify necessary safety inspections, fire watches, and standby positions associate with ladder safety, vessel entry, etc.
- During detailed job planning, the planner details and phases job requirements.
- Network analysis to facilitate the planning of complex jobs.
- Prepares cross work orders to other groups as required and necessitated by the CMMS in place.
- Establish the required crew size and man-hours for each task of the job sequence.
- Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Determine what items are in stock.
- Source those items which must be direct ordered (purchasing responsibility).
- Creating daily/weekly schedules.
- Maintain & schedule employee training.
- Asset management in CMMS.
Qualifications
- CMS system experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
