Job Description
Manages operations and activities of store and staff; executes company policies, procedures, and programs ensuring that the score is consistently providing quality service to all customers at all times constantly looking at ways to improve. This salaried position requires a minimum of 45-50 hours on site per week with possible additional time as required in order to fulfill duties and requirements.
Requirements/Responsibilities-Meets or exceeds all Parish Oil Core Value behaviors.
-Ensure that the store is open and closed according to the posted schedule.
-Supervises the interviewing, selection, hiring, and training of all associates.
-Maintains communication with the superiors and/or Human Resources to collaborate
on continuous improvement activities and incident responses.
- Adapts to changes in the work environment by changing approach or method to best fit
the situation at hand.
-Handles all aspects of cash control including but not: limited to bank deposits, cashier
drawers, ATM, safes, etc.
-Utilizes all tools such as cameras, cashier audits, cashier till reports, etc., to help the
employees understand cash control and to catch any undesirable or criminal behavior.
-Prepares all necessary reports and paperwork including but not limited to: cashier till
reports, invoicing, daily reconciliation reports, incident reports, etc.
-Maintains all inventory through: ordering, stocking, merchandising, timely sales, vendor
check in and shortages.
-Maintains interior and exterior store standards; ensures merchandise presentation is in
accordance with company direction. This includes scheduling facility and equipment
maintenance as needed.
-Adheres to safety rules and regulations. Able to convey safe work habits and ways to
help prevent employee injuries.
-Be familiar and comply with UST (Underground Storage Tanks) regulations. This includes and is not limited to spill buckets, automatic tank gauges, etc. to cleaning up any hazardous material.
-Ensure that staff scheduling is efficient and minimizes overtime.
-Performs other related duties as assigned by management, able to delegate when
necessary.
