We are hiring dedicated and enthusiastic high school/college helpers to join our phenomenal team of nurturers and educators. As an Afternoon and/or Summer High School/College Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting our dedicated staff and enriching the lives of the children in our care (ages 6 weeks through 6 years old). We are hiring multiple candidates for this rewarding experience.

Duties

Assist daycare staff in supervising and engaging children in various activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by following daycare policies and procedures.
Support children and teachers in the classroom and outdoor activities
Provide patient and compassionate assistance as needed.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
Demonstrate positive role modeling, kindness, and empathy while interacting with children.

Requirements

16 years of age or older
If over 18, must be willing to be fingerprinted and pass a background check
Genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives
Reliable, responsible, and dependable
Willing to work afternoons Monday through Friday, but all are not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with children is a plus, but not required
CPR/First Aid certification
