  1. LANGUAGE SKILLS

  1. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • General
  • Abides by all established KGH policies and procedures.
  • Pays particular attention to confidentiality of medical records and related information.
  • Maintains confidentiality of quality review findings.
  • Maintains professional demeanor and good working relationships with all members of KGH staff and medical staff.
  • Demonstrates self-directed learning, participation and continuing education to meet own professional development
  • Participates in the establishment of departmental short and long-term goals.
  • Quality Audits
  • Performs chart audits on selected cases for Medical Staff peer review
  • Monitors trend and participate in the determination of need for further assessment and improvement.
  • Using appropriate criteria reviews chart documentation to justify patient care in order to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Assists Director in medical record audits in preparation for Medical Staff meetings.
  • Follows established procedures for obtaining and utilizing medical records.
  • Chart review data collection forms are created to extract the minimum information necessary to obtain the needed information.
  • Enters unusual occurrence reports into database and notifies Directors as needed including follow up with responsible parties.
  • Prepares unusual occurrence reports with Risk Management.
  • Prepares drill down reports as requested.

Salary: $39.93 - $54.03
