Position Summary:
Responsible for Installation, implementation and maintenance of LAN used within the facility and supporting on-site/off-site locations. Initial response to help desk calls made within the first 24 hours.
Reports to: IT Support Tech Lead and Director of Information Systems
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent □ Preferred X Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a hospital environment □ Preferred X Required
Minimum 1 year experience with AS400 operations □ Preferred X Required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum 3-5 years experience with network management □ Preferred X Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience with server, desktop and peripheral configuration □ Preferred X Required
Minimum 3-5 years experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues □ Preferred X Required
Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills □ Preferred X Required
Effective human relations skills are required for interfacing with team members, all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families and other contacts □ Preferred X Required
Must possess the ability to effectively function in a stressful environment □ Preferred X Required
Must possess the ability to use the following equipment; Telephone/Overhead Paging System/Fax Machine/Calculator/Computer □ Preferred X Required
