Production Floater

Take the next step in your career with this great opportunity! Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading granite manufacturer located in Cold Spring, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring Production Floaters on the 1st shift. Hours are 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and 5:00am-12:00pm on Fridays. Overtime opportunities are available as needed. Compensation for these temp-to-hire positions is $19.00 per hour. What you will do as a Production Floater:

\n
• Load and unload machines
\n
• Read production tickets, gather correct product and patterns
\n
• Use cranes to move product in and out of machines
\n
• Operate CNC Machines with a willingness to train on how to set up and program machines
\n
• Finish and polish final product
\n

What you need to be a Production Floater:

\n
• Ability to read a tape measure
\n
• Possess general computer skills and math skills
\n
• Strong attention to detail or hobbies that involve being detail oriented i.e. carpentry, mechanics, etc.
\n
• Willing to wear protective safety shoes, glasses, and hearing protection
\n
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodations
\n
• Willing to work in multiple areas, work together as a team
\n
• Must have good color perception and not be color blind or deficient
\n
