Physical Education Teacher Needed - Acton Agua Dulce Schools (Acton, CA)

Acton Agua Dulce USD is seeking a dedicated APE teacher to join our team and support our students! This is a part-time position (20-30 hours per week) on-site at multiple locations within the Acton, CA area.

Job Details:

• Location: Acton, CA (Multiple Sites)
• Dates: ASAP - June 7th, 2024
• Hours: 20-30 hours per week
• Caseload/Details:
  • All ages (TK-12)
  • 3 Sites
  • Approximately 15 students
  • Unpaid lunch break (30 minutes)
• Special Requirements: APE Teaching Credential

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' individual needs
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid California APE Teaching Credential
• Experience working with students with a variety of special needs
• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies for students with special needs
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
