Job Description:The Purpose of Your Role

You’ll be part of the core team responsible for designing and developing microservices which can service large volume of data and to be able to integrate with other distributed systems in a scalable manner. You will adopt a Fintech mindset to help build the modern data platforms and data access layer using service-oriented architecture principles.
 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Experience with variety of modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • You have the expertise and experience in designing microservices & streaming systems which can handle high TPS traffic with low latency.
  • 10+ years of experience working with java
  • Experience with Cloud technologies including AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc.
  • You have a passion for technology and can navigate your way across complex and rapidly changing landscapes by staying on top of latest trends and thrive by sharing knowledge.
  • Care about cycle time and use CI/CD practices, tools to rapidly deploy changes to customers while minimizing risk using practices like A/B tests, blue-green deployments, and feature toggles.
  • Have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and participate in meaningful discussions.
  • Proficiency in databases, SQL Secure design and coding practices.
     
The Skills You Bring
  • Hands on experience in Java, and Rest based microservices particularly spring boot apps.
  • Proficient level knowledge of RESTful APIs and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
  • Hands on experience working with AWS EKS, and AWS managed solutions such as lambda, API gateway, SQS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices, datadog, etc.
  • Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker)
  • Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling etc
  • Familiarity working with Authorization and Authentication
  • Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, build and deploy tools (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform etc.)
  • Experience with Financial services and Brokerage domain is a plus.
