Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team located in Signal Hill, CA. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Responsibilities - 1st Shift
  • Selects products for testing at specified stages in production and tests such parameters as dimensions, performance, mechanical, chemical, or electrical characteristics
  • Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics
  • Records results according to testing schedules
  • Reports variances, discrepancies, malfunctions & policy deviations to leadership
  • Maintains accurate records according to company policies & government regulations
  • Coordinates inventory for labels, chemicals, supplier's services, standards & laboratory's administrative affairs
  • Works in any of the following areas of quality control: incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, corrective/preventive action (CAPA) or research and development
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Associate degree preferred; HS/GED required
  • 2+ years technical experience
  • Experience as a Quality Assurance Reviewer
  • Familiarity with most measuring tools preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Technically oriented
  • Computer proficient
  • Team player/ able to take initiative
Hourly Rate: $23.88 - $35.03
