Tulley Automotive Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for a motivated Part Time Cashier Receptionist. The schedule for this position is Thursday through Saturday. Job Description:

  • Provides and ensures exceptional customer service;
  • Accurately and effectively processes payments for products and services sold by the dealership;
  • Promptly, accurately, and courteously answers and directs incoming dealership telephone calls, messages and customer requests to the proper area or person;
  • Assists the human resources department with employment applicants and processing as required;
  • Performs filing and other clerical functions as designated by the Office Manager;
  • Accurately balances daily cash and paper transactions;
  • Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of personal work area and customer service areas;
  • Abides by group policies and procedures of the Employee Handbook;
  • Communicates and coordinates regularly with appropriate others to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations and activities;
  • Complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect dealership operations;
  • Provides needed information and demonstrations concerning how to perform certain work tasks to employees;
  • Keeps immediate supervisor and designated others fully and accurately informed concerning work progress, including present and potential work problems, and suggestions for new or improved ways of addressing these problems;
  • Brings integrity, ingenuity, enthusiasm and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks;
  • Performs other directly related duties consistent with the role and function of the specification.


  • Working knowledge of department administrative functions, policies and organization;
  • Working knowledge of current dealership administrative technology, terminology, procedures and equipment;
  • Thorough knowledge of processing customer cash and paper transactions;
  • Thorough knowledge of telephone, cash register features, credit / debit card processes;
  • Skilled in handling sensitive inquires or complaints and resolving customer problems;
  • Skilled in logic and mathematical principles such as formulas, equations, calculations, proportions, and percentages;
  • Ability to use current automotive DMS computer technology as applicable to department operations and familiarity with the Internet, browser programs, and e-mail protocol;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, using technical and non-technical language;
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of deadlines;
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology.
