Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Lathe Machinist, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
2. Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to set up and adjust machines accordingly.
3. Performing regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
4. Identifying and resolving any machine malfunctions or production issues in a timely manner.
5. Working closely with the quality control team to ensure all products meet the required standards.
6. Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Continually seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency within the production line.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Lathe Machinist position should have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency in operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines.
3. Strong knowledge of machining processes, quality control, and production procedures.
4. Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve production issues.
6. Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality products.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
8. A strong commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree or certification in a related field is a plus.
