Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state, or international) to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws.
2. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
3. Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals.
4. Exhibit strong understanding of accounting and tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.
5. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with client management.
6. Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff on tax process and consult on tax issues.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to manage risks and ensure compliance.
8. Work closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
3. A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in public accounting or equivalent, focusing on tax matters.
4. Proven experience with tax preparation, tax accounting, and tax compliance.
5. Proficient in corporate, individual, and partnership tax planning and compliance.
6. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
7. Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
9. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
11. Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
