Position Overview: The Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive and organized professional with a deep understanding of construction processes, a keen eye for quality, and exceptional leadership skills. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage residential new home construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control throughout all phases of construction, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, updating stakeholders on progress and potential delays.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractor selection, contracts, and performance to ensure optimal project outcomes.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including financial metrics, to senior management.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on-site.
  • Track job specific expenses to maintain project budgets.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' expeirence construction project management in central Florida.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing residential new home construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control.
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, CCM) a plus.
