Hiring for an Accounts Payable Processor to provide construction industry support! Fill a valued role in the company, answering directly to the Controller. This role is 100% on site in Erie, Pennsylvania and comes with full benefits. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process accounts Payable invoices from receipt through payment ensuring the process is prompt, accurate and efficient.
  • Post invoices and distribute invoices to Purchaser as needed.
  • Complete regular check runs.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding as needed
  • Process purchase orders.
  • File and resolve incoming packing slips, relating to purchase orders and invoices.
  • Track invoice payment status and payables, manually and digitally.
  • Manage distribution of invoice copies and print checks for other departments as required.
  • Resolve Accounts Payable calls from vendors.
  • Initiate and process Debit Memos when needed.
  • Review and reconcile monthly Vendor Statements.
  • Perform monthly close.
  • Assist with additional accounting administrative tasks as directed by the Controller.

QUALIFCATIONS:

  • Minimum 3 years Accounts Payable experience.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
