We are looking for a hard-working Outside Sales Representative to lead and develop Polyvision's Marsh Brand business within the continental United States. Candidates must live within a reasonable distance to New Philadelphia, OH (e.g., Pittsburgh PA, Columbus OH, Cleveland OH, etc.) with the ability to report onsite on a routine basis.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Marsh Brand resources to support our distribution sales channel of customers in the United States.
  • Support the budgeting process and manage sales revenue monthly/quarterly/annually.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting of monthly/quarterly/annual revenue expectations.
  • Manage sales resources to achieve revenue and profitability goals within our Marsh Brand channel of business.
  • Maintain and develop key customer relationships.
    1. Recruit and develop new distributors and additional revenue streams.
    2. Resolve disputes to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Manage resources to support Marsh Brand sales goals.
    1. Manage pricing/profitability.
    2. Support quoting activity.
    3. Support sample requests and other sales collateral.
  • Manage relationships with Marsh Brand key partners.
    1. Support pricing requests.
    2. Manage lead times and warranty issues.
    3. Maintain and foster a positive working relationship.
    4. Maintain consistent communication with key partners that support their needs & Marsh Brand budgeted growth.
  • Manage internal sales resources.
    1. Bi-weekly 1:1 with VP of Sales reviewing monthly & quarterly sales projections.
    2. Quarterly reviews with our key partners.
    3. Collaborate with product development and marketing teams.
    4. Attend weekly SIOP meetings & communicate weekly sales activity with key stakeholders within the business.
    5. Weekly activity review with the Customer Care Team (e.g., quotes, bookings, shipments, quality and sales activity).
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; and 5-years related experience in channel sales development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional tone and manner in both verbal and written means.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Industrios a plus.
  • Knowledge of business-to-business (B2B) selling.
  • Be highly disciplined and self-motivated.
  • Understand customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize assigned work to meet established deadlines.
  • Proficient in using standard office equipment (e.g., copier, scanner, etc.)
  • Abide by all internal control and compliance practices.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Reliable high-speed internet and phone when working remotely is required.
  • Travel Required: 40%
  • This job may operate in a professional office environment with exposure to central climate control, overhead lightening, and low-to-moderate noise levels.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear, sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, bend, stoop, use hands and fingers to perform repetitive motions, and reach with hands and arms to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performing work tasks outside of these hours may be required.
