The Claims Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to processing all sales to ensure our clients receive an amazing experience and the job process is completed successfully within the given timeline. The Claims Coordinator is responsible for overseeing customer accounts and making the necessary actions to move the account along within the sales and insurance processes. A motivated professional who is comfortable with change in a growing business environment. Experienced in handling a large volume of customer accounts and comfortable with implementing new processes. A quick learner and able to work independently with little to no supervision but comfortable with asking questions. Task oriented individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and good with numbers.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit CRM client files for accuracy and organization
  • Review contractual documents for compliance and accuracy
  • Create and update customer work agreements/budgets
  • Report discrepancies and execute change orders when necessary
  • Communicate all account updates with Sales Professional and applicable administrative staff
  • Coordinate with Sales Professional to move clients through the insurance process in an efficient and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Sales Team to move clients through the contractual process in an efficient and timely manner
  • Submit claims documents to client insurance companies
  • Communicate with insurance companies/supplementing company daily regarding client requests, inspections, claim status, and release of funds
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with insurance adjusters and claims representatives
  • Track updates from insurance companies and notate in CRM
  • Update CRM contact and departmental statuses
  • Monitor customer account timelines and communicate upcoming deadlines
  • Finalize customer work agreements and budgets
  • Build/Update database of mortgage partners and keep records of all requirements and required documentation

  • Assist with administrative duties and tasks and/or projects as assigned by the department head

In this role you will use Estimating and Satellite measurement tools, create/review the scope of work, and work closely with the insurance company/supplement company to complete the account properly, on time, in scope, and on budget. Requires a proven track record of successful negotiation & communication skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have at least two years of office-based experience in sales, customer services, account processing, or related field
  • Must exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must exhibit excellent mathematical skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and/or Google Suite products specifically spreadsheets and word processor
  • Must have strong organizational and data processing skills
  • Must have knowledge of clerical and accounting practices and procedures
  • Must have an exceptional attention to detail
