Overview of the Position

We are seeking a versatile and motivated IT Manager to join our team, responsible for a wide range of generalist IT tasks, from day-to-day help desk support and network management to handling all IT equipment, asset management, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will also own user support, Microsoft 365 administration, security, cybersecurity, data loss protection, and oversee administrators for Salesforce, website, and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities

Help Desk Support:

  • Provide efficient day-to-day help desk support, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring a high level of end-user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and responsive help desk operation.

Network Support and Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions to enhance network efficiency.
  • Collaborate in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
  • Provide expert analysis and recommendations for potential upgrades or integrations to the IT system, outlining the trade-offs of different products options and approaches to support decision-making

IT Equipment and Asset Management:

  • Manage the equipment lifecycle including procurement, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular audits of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
  • Implement asset management practices for devices.

User Support:

  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and provide continued training.
  • Microsoft 365 administration, including platform configuration, customization, and management of workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive

Security and Cybersecurity:

  • Own the development and enforcement of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and data loss protection strategies.

Administrator Oversight:

  • Provide oversight to administrators, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.
  • Oversee the Salesforce Administrator, guiding on onboarding, offboarding, training, customization, and integration.
  • Assistance with the administration of the RestoringVision website and manage e-commerce platforms.

Efficiency Improvement:

  • Leverage IT to improve efficiencies across different departments, including Program and Fundraising.
  • Identify IT initiatives and prioritize them based on their organizational benefits.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, or comparable experience.
  • Proven experience in providing help desk support, network support, and infrastructure management.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to participate in strategic discussions and contribute to IT planning.
  • Familiarity with a range of technologies, including hardware, software, and networking.
  • Salesforce and website administration experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • This position is fully remote, but will require regular visits to our Distribution Center located in Lockbourne, OH. Candidates must live within an hour drive.

Schedule:

Regular business hours between 9AM to 5PM EST Monday through Friday
