Overview

Domify is an AI co-pilot that will make being compliant AND serving clients better, faster and cheaper. We're simplifying the regulatory complexities by structuring unstructured data, providing consideration, explanations and documentation of investment recommendations and making the jobs of financial advisors, compliance supervisors and surveillance teams and regulators easier and more effective.

We're seeking a Technical Co-founder to join us and spearhead our technological vision, strategy, and execution. As a key co-founder and executive of Domify, you'll lead the product development and partner with our team, customers, regulators and investors to capture this opportunity.

Locations: San Francisco and New York

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architecting the Future: Shape the startup's technical trajectory by making pivotal decisions on architecture, tools, feasibility, and processes. Your guidance will drive the tech direction that transforms our vision into reality.

2. Rapid Innovation: Lead the creation of prototypes, iterating swiftly to discover product-market fit and capture customer needs.

3. Hands-On Impact: Dive into the code and actively develop using agile methodologies to pivot our products as new needs emerge, keeping them progressive and functional.

4. Business Collaboration: Present new solutions to clients alongside your business counterpart, showcasing your technical prowess as a persuasive force.

5. Nurturing Products: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Guarantee scalability, reliability, and innovation throughout development and troubleshooting.

6. Cultivating Talent: As we expand, you'll play a vital role in identifying, recruiting, and managing a globally distributed team of exceptional engineering talent.

Skills and Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc); a PhD is a plus.

• 5-10 years of work experience, with startup experience as a strong advantage.

• Proven technical leadership in dynamic environments, ideally within startups.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java, especially in the AI domain.

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML models, deep learning, natural language processing, or related tech.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Agile or Scrum expertise in software development methodologies.

• Problem-solving prowess, leadership acumen, and resilience under pressure.
