Tool and Die Maker - 2nd & 3rd Shift

We are currently seeking Tool and Die Makers for 2nd and 3rd shifts!

Starting pay: Up to $33.00/h + pay increase after 90 days

Job details:

- Read and interpret blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions or from the part to be copied or fitted

-Plan setup and operation of all types of machine shop tools, considering types of material, tolerances, types of cutting tools, coolants, lubricants and machine tool feeds and speeds

- Weld repair and heat treatment of different materials including tool steels.

- Determine specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gaging tools, performing required inspection before, during and after machining

- Perform hand operations involved in producing jigs, fixtures, tools and dies.

- Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, tools and dies. Sets up, runs off and tests dies to produce a product to specifications, tracing die difficulties to their source and correcting same

- Tear down, repairs and reassembles tooling on the bench or in the press as required

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in tool and die making

- Possess a journeyman card

- Driver’s license and reliable transportation

- Must be reliable and able to take direction
