What you’ll be doing:

As a Junior IT Technician at JobNimbus, you’ll play a crucial role in:

  • Providing tier 1 support to JobNimbus employees, diagnosing, and resolving incident tickets through Jira.
  • Provisioning access and offering support for a wide range of applications including Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, LastPass, and Aloware.
  • Onboarding new employees and ensuring that all equipment and access is provisioned before employee start dates. 
  • Setting up and moving computer equipment within the office as needed.
  • Assisting in adding purchased equipment into the inventory tracking management system and helping with inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of documentation for IT processes, policies, and company apps within Confluence.
  • Performing network maintenance and ensuring firmware and patches on equipment are up to date.

  • 1 year of IT support experience or relevant educational background.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and independently.
  • Available to work 5 days a week in office.
  • Able to comfortably lift objects up to 50lbs and crawl under desks.
  • Experience supporting macOS and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITSM processes.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, and other collaboration tools.
