Giddy is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the sexual health and wellness space. Our flagship product is an ED device called Eddie, which is an FDA Registered Class II medical device. We have three website properties and are currently building the world's first AI search engine for sexual health and wellness information.

Giddy is looking for an Account Director for our Government Sales Team that is responsible for selling Giddy’s products to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense.  This individual will work to standardize our growing teams procedures and processes to generate profitable growth and increased market share.  This role comprehends the overall corporate sales strategy and effectively develops and implements a strategic business plan to meet these objectives.  This role will lead the regional sales goals and expectations for a specific territory by effectively communicating sales goals, managing a team of sales consultants in the field, and developing and maintaining strategic partnerships across the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and implement strong procedures and processes that will be followed by the team

  • Provides leadership, training, on-going development to the Sales Consultants

  • Coaches and mentors Sales Representatives in support of career progression, provides feedback on knowledge, skill, and leadership development opportunities, and suggests ongoing education opportunities

  • Responsible for delivering profitable sales revenue growth across the territory

  • Oversees and manages the communication of sales data and other key information to ensure distribution leaders and producers are well educated, motivated, and supported in a timely manner

  • Develop strategies and tactics for increasing market share

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience in medical device sales with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments

  • Experience working within the government sector such as the VA and DOD

  • Previous sales executive experience with great track record of hiring and growing sales and marketing teams

  • Previous experience with establishing protocols and procedures for sales teams to follow

  • Strong ability to sell medical products based upon customer need; excellent sales presentation skills; strong ability to overcome customer objections and concerns; ability to quickly learn new products and services

  • Strong ability to develop long-term business relationships; strong listening skills; ability to interact with other departments to support the servicing of the customer

  • Strong ability to structure sales that meet the customers’ requirements and to resolve problems in a timely, efficient and complete manner

  • Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Team player with good time-management skills.

  • Excellent track record of creating and executing various sales strategies both for the short term and long term.

  • Ability to take calculated risks in a startup environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA strongly preferred, or equivalent sales/business
