CUSTOMER SERVICE REP/SHOWROOM FLOOR COORDINATOR

General Purpose

The Showroom Floor Coordinator is a front-line customer contact for the dealership. (S)he greets prospective customers as they enter the showroom, answers basic inquiries, and connects them with the appropriate party in accordance with dealership policies. The position requires a self-starter who can multi-task under stress in an effective, efficient and professional manner. The job requires excellent oral communication skills, professional personal appearance, the ability to work comfortably with the public and the ability to communicate customers‚ interests, needs and requests to management and sales personnel. This position is also responsible for logging all prospect information and help maintaining rotation list for sales consultants, including monitoring the schedule. Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness

Education and Experience

  • high school diploma generally required
  • knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • knowledge of computers and relevant software application
  • knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • keyboard skills
  • ability to work a switchboard

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
