Overview:

Premier America Credit Union provides a full range of financial services and excellent career opportunities throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. We are currently seeking a dynamic Wealth Advisor to join the Wealth Management Group in our Chatsworth Corporate Office – an experienced professional, with solid history of providing wealth management and financial planning strategies through profiling and analysis. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency, the ability to improve operational efficiency through thoughtful process improvement, and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.

About You:

· Planning: You run a relationship-driven, planning-based, and advisory-centric practice that focuses on comprehensive and holistic solutions for your clients, not products to sell.

· Teamwork: You have been recognized for your excellent interpersonal skills and your ability to effectively communicate, build rapport, and relate to others.

· Judgement: You make exact decisions about business policies, managing risks and ensuring operations are conducted in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements.

· Communication: Your effective communication style will be used to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

What You Will Do:

• The core responsibility is to prospect for investment and financial planning opportunities inside and outside the Credit Union while developing and deepening relationships.
• Will assess client objectives relating to our client’s needs, desire, risk tolerance and resources.
• Expected to advise, recommend, and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives through offering appropriate financial products and solutions.
• Responsible for providing educational workshops to the Credit Union’s staff and membership while complying with all FINRA rules and regulations, broker/dealer supervisory procedures and internal compliance procedures.
• Will establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with internal and external stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or related experience
• CFP® designation preferred but not required
• Five years of progressive experience as a Financial Advisor
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements
• FINRA Security licenses 7, 63 and 65 or 66, CA Life, Health & Disability Insurance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively, working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including ease in presenting information to a group
• Software Skills: Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.), eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $62,400.00 plus commission
