Job Summary

Kayser Chrysler Center of Watertown is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant - Automotive Title Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time hourly position focused on processing vital paperwork and documentation relating to vehicle sales and other administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, motivated to learn, and have the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a Full-time, hourly position with a competitive wage of $18 - $22 per hour, paid semimonthly. 

Responsibilities

  •  Accounts Receivable
  • Process car titles; verify that paperwork is accurate and all elements of the sale are complete.
  •  Ensure that all documentation provided has been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  •  Enter information into computer database accurately and timely.
  •  Prepare paperwork for vehicles sales to be sent to financial institutions for funding.
  •  Maintain accurate records of vehicle sales, title applications, and other confidential information.
  •  Carry out other administrative tasks as needed.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with Accounting Software is preferred
  • Previous experience working in the automotive field is preferable.
  • Knowledge of general Accounting principles & practices
  •  A valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
