Job Title: BO-105 Helicopter Mechanic
Department: Aviation Maintenance
Reports to: Aviation Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BO-105 Helicopter Mechanic to join our aviation maintenance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on BO-105 helicopters. The candidate should exhibit exceptional technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance work performed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on BO-105 helicopters in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and maintenance manuals
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace defective components or systems, ensuring their integrity and functionality
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as engine and rotor blade inspections, fluid changes, belt replacements, and other routine procedures
- Interpret and utilize technical documentation, such as maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprints, to effectively troubleshoot and complete maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours spent
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards throughout the maintenance process
- Collaborate with other aviation maintenance team members to troubleshoot complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in professional development training and workshops
- Follow established maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and maximize helicopter availability
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage of tools and equipment

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a helicopter mechanic, preferably with significant experience on BO-105 helicopters
- Proficient in interpreting and utilizing technical documentation, such as maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of helicopter systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and avionics systems
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, cooperating effectively with other maintenance professionals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong commitment to safety, following all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to other team members and stakeholders

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces, as necessary for maintenance and repair tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, as required by operational needs
