Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Reporting To: Shipping Manager

SUMMARY

Our Logistics department is searching for a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Shipment coordinator. You should be able to handle and oversee our day-to-day shipping activities in coordination with the Shipping Manager and address customer queries and complaints.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Schedule shipments.

· Print shipping labels and maintain an accurate record of the same.

· Keep track of the inventory supplies.

  • Preparing and providing shipping quotes to the customers
  • Negotiating the contract terms and shipping charges with vendors and courier services
  • Coordinating daily operations with the Shipping Manager
  • Creating and maintaining a report of the daily shipping activities
  • Resolving any customer queries and complaints
  • Obtaining shipment invoices and checking the accuracy of the same
  • Assisting in preparing and printing shipping labels
  • Checking whether the shipping contents match the shipping label details.
  • Packing and assembling boxes or packages to be shipped
  • Checking and keeping track of the inventory supplies
  • Communicating and understanding the customer’s preferred courier mode
  • Scheduling packages for shipment
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

· Proven work experience as a Shipping Coordinator, Shipping Clerk, or a similar role in the logistics department

· Familiarity with shipping procedures and shipment tracking software.

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

· Detail-oriented and highly motivated individual

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Displaying multitasking abilities

· Ability to offer excellent customer service.
