Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our educational institution. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. You will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education.
- Valid Indiana teaching license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' academic and personal development.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital resources.
- Familiarity with educational best practices and curriculum standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and improvement.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective lesson plans, taking into account the individual needs and abilities of students.
- Deliver lessons using a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.
- Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of evaluation.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
- Establish and maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and positive behavior.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum materials and instructional strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns or achievements.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques.
- Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and other school events as required.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
- Uphold and enforce school policies, rules, and regulations.
Additional tasks may be assigned by the Supervisor dependent upon the program. (BAS/BEEP/DAY REPORTING)
Salary and Scheduling vary based on the program and qualifications.
