We are currently looking for a talented Restaurant Sous Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Knoxville, TN. Job Description:

Our Sous Chef will oversee maintaining all daily back of the house operations. Our Sous Chef will train the culinary staff to execute each dish with passion and excellence to ensure guests expectations are not only met but exceeded. The Sous Chef must be confident and have a complete understanding of kitchen operations, demonstrate organizational skills, and have the leadership abilities to be available to your team and maintain all kitchen functions. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef with budget planning, back of the house financials, product ordering and enforcing health and safety standards. A Professional Sous Chef must be capable of fulfilling all areas of the Executive Chefs obligations in his/her absence.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a sous chef

Experience in costing and managing associated costs

Hands-on leadership is required

Passion for great food

Good history of tenure
