Job Description
Overall Responsibility:
To be the working supervisor of an installation crew
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
¨ To ensure proper installation of concrete walls per SWA specifications
¨ To assign installation duties to the appropriate subordinates
¨ To enforce subordinate compliance with all Company safety policies
¨ To maintain a high level of teamwork among subordinates
¨ To cross train subordinates in all facets of installation
¨ To maintain adequate inventory of supplies on installation truck
¨ To ensure scheduled preventive maintenance of truck and installation equipment is performed in a timely manner
¨ To maintain high level of customer satisfaction
¨ Travel as required
¨ Other duties as assigned
¨ Crane signal proficiency
¨ Properly anticipate overnight travel requirements and plan for such
¨ To represent the Company in a professional manner while on Company payroll and offer assistance to sales prospects who may have questions on a site by carrying sales literature and cards in crew truck
¨ To assure all end-of-job procedures are completed daily
Skills and Attributes:
¨ Interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written
¨ Ability to perform all of subordinate’s duties
¨ Ability to read production and/or customer blueprints
¨ Ability to operate tampers, transit, generators and other installation equipment, including Total Station
¨ Ability to manually lay out job site
¨ Ability to drive standard transmission 1 ton truck
¨ Ability to manage crew helpers
¨ Ability to understand and perform official crane signals
¨ Ability to maintain personal composure in the midst of a crisis
¨ Ability to hold privileged communications and information confidential
¨ Basic mechanical skills
¨ Knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing procedures
¨ SWA installation certification
¨ Willing to work as required to meet daily installation schedules
¨ Willing to wear Company provided uniforms
¨ Possess good personal hygiene habits
Experience Requirement:
Possess and retain a valid driver’s license for non-CDL transport
Education Requirement:
¨ High School diploma
¨ High School graduate level math skills, including algebraic / geometric application skills
