Overview

Responsible for technical direction and support in the processes and workflows in the use of mortgage software applications, specifically Encompass & nCino (Simple Nexus) to end-users as well as coordinating the evaluation and analysis of applications as it pertains to business processes for improvement in productivity and efficiency. Coordinate application maintenance activities and manage projects under the guidance of the Mortgage Software Administrator.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Analyze system and processes, and work with other departments to generate enhancements and improvements to existing workflows.
  • Coordinate meetings with other departments to resolve critical issues related to Encompass and the workflow process.
  • Provide guidance to Mortgage Software Analyst on support tickets that require deeper analysis.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of training to users as necessary to facilitate improving existing users or rolling out new processes and/or features.
  • Continually evaluates processes to ensure maximum efficiency, high quality, and excellent customer service.
  • Resolve escalated customer service issues and foster team building throughout.
  • Utilize technology, including but not limited to; Encompass and nCino (Simple Nexus), to improve efficiency and the borrower experience.
  • Maintain a positive and effective work environment.



Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a mortgage lending environment including Mortgage Software analyst role.
  • 1+ years of experience in a team lead, supervisor, or management role.
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry, compliance, and loan structuring.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and a team player.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience working with Encompass.
  • Ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
