CNC Machine Operator - 1st Shift

We are seeking candidates for CNC Machinist roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $18.56 per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!

What you’ll do as a CNC Machine Operator:

\n
• Perform complex setups from programs on machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications
\n
• Determine program edits required to adjust speeds and feeds in order to machine parts properly and efficiently
\n
• Inspect finished parts using c using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers, or other equipment
\n
• Make adjustments to machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances
\n
• Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures
\n
• Perform routine maintenance
\n
• Monitor manufacturing methods, processes, and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met
\n
• Maintain and improve cost competitiveness including identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements
\n

What you need to be a CNC Machine Operator:

\n
• Diploma in Computer Integrated Machining, or currently enrolled in a program
\n
• 1+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
\n
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
\n
• Knowledgeable in precision measuring tools use
\n
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
\n
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering prints and machining documentation and processes
\n
• Proficiency in MS Office, CNC, and other software
\n
• Ability to understand and implement AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies
\n
