In this role as a Business System Analyst, you will be a thought leader in developing innovative solutions to automate the state file process and you will develop tools to expedite work for the business analysts (data dictionaries, simplified version of file layouts, macros and crosswalks, etc). You will be responsible for cross training technical applications and programming code used to support the state file process for C&S Health Plans. You will develop an audit trail safety net, and cross train on the location paths, etc. and you may be asked to support some operations application building.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, tests, documents and maintains database queries and reports
  • Works with customers to define and document additional requirements and efficiency innovations to enrich reporting capabilities
  • Develops systematic reporting processes and procedures to ensure timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to management
  • Troubleshoots data integrity issues, analyzes data for completeness to meet business needs, and proposes documented solution recommendations
  • Transfers data into meaningful, professional and easy to understand formats for various audiences
  • With little direction, manages reporting and analysis elements on all business initiative projects

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Relational Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • 1+ years of professional experience performing Data Analytics and Reporting (SSIS/SSRS)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional experience with source control (Git/GitHub)
  • Experience with UHC Community & State platforms
  • Experience with provider data within the Healthcare Industry
  • Experience with Facets database
  • Solid T-SQL Skills
